Jackson destroys everything he can hit. But he can't hit Joey Too clever, too fast and he won't wilt. I see UD Giardello.
Giardello was damn good and elusive as hell, but very up and down. If they fought 5 times Giardello wins 3 and JJ wins 2. Great fights each time.
Giardello was too elusive, and even if Jackson did connect with some shots, Giardello is durable enough that he would have be hit right on the button with a perfect shot to get kayoed.
I see this as a 50/50 fight. Straight up. I'm not buying Giardello as some defensive wizard, and he was far from the most consistent performer, nor was he durable enough, in my opinion, to take Jackson's best. He's very capable of out-boxing or even stopping Jackson (hell of a right cross in particular), but also capable of being hurt and/or stopped at any time as well. If both came in at their best I'd favor Giardello, but wouldn't be too confident.
