For a while, John "The Beast" Mugabi was known as John "The Kreese" Mugabi. Because of his lack of willingness to show his opponents any mercy. But, of course, Martin Kove sued him and bit him a couple times and he changed it back to "The Beast."
Probably whomever landed cleanly first. Which in most cases would be Jackson. However Mugabi prior to Hagler had a better ability to absorb punches than Jackson. So I wouldn't count Mugabi out , especially if it becomes a dog fight.
Longer it goes Mugabi has a better chance to turn the tables in this matchup. Jackson early or Mugabi takes over from the middle rounds, be a great fight though.
I would make Jackson a favorite but I wouldn’t bet money. Both guys hit like trucks and both had chins that could be cracked.
The prime Mugabi up to March 1986 in my opinion bombs out Jackson in the 6th.Both had exceptional chins and Jackson could set traps with superior boxers but I see Mugabi outlasting him
