the irresistable force vs the immoveable object. personally, i think mr. castro stops him late in a war.

Julian Jackson was much better than John David Jackson (who was beating Castro every second of their fight until Castro landed an incredible Hail Mary.) Jackson by KO

totally different fighters Julian and John david. John david was a Slick southpaw mover…….Julian the opposite. castro was not as talented as Jackson, but way tougher. his chin was pure iron.....nobody could ko castro. Jackson was never that good at taking punches and castro too could crack. i think castro may get dropped in a wild fight, but hammer him late.

Nobody's chin is totally safe from a Julian Jackson bomb. But, the more I ponder this matchup, the more I think that you may be right. Castro did beat Reggie Johnson twice (albeit controversially). And he went the ****ing distance with Cruiserweight Vasily Jirov. No doubt Castro was a tough dude. It would be an interesting war no matter how it ended.

in a way it s hard to pick someone who lost shinji takehara over Jackson.....but i think it s a "styles make fights" type of deal. what i really love About this fight is that These two are such polar opposites: Jackson the model athelete, tall and jacked. castro the chubby dude with Long hair. Jackson the classic Stylist...…..castro so awkward that if he ever threw a jab it was purely by accident.

im sure this had "fight of the year" written all over it. and it actually could have happned. both were belt holders in 95.....but thanks to the Alphabet soup it didnt happen. sad.
