Starling in a war if he doesn't get tagged too hard.

    Jackson wasn't a Welterweight.

    under a catch wieght of....152

starling....jackson was a big puncher but he was usually behind on the cards when the bomb dropped. better skills than what i prolly give him for but he was a stero typical aggresive stalker.

i feel a marlon clinic coming on.

Jackson was a big 154lb-er, he would lose a lot coming down to 147 IMO.

Not that it would really matter as I believe an inform Starling would beat a 154 Jackson.

Starling TKO13, leading 10-2 going into the final round.

Starling would be too clever for Jackson. I'd take Starling to bust him up and stop him late.

You'd have to give Jackson a punchers chance, but no more than that. Starling was very well organised and could make his opponents look amateurish.

Starling by mid round stoppage. Jackson would grow fustrated at not being able to penetrate Starlings high guard. Sooner or later, Jackson will start to swing wild and be vulnerable to a Starling counter shot. game over.

Starling blocked punches extremely well with his gloves, but he still blocked em with his GLOVES.

Julian Jackson in all honesty had power that was not of this earth. His punches would go straight through Starling's guard, and Marlon would wake up 10 mins later not knowing he got knocked out.

What is your point? Jackson was too big to have fought Starling, unless you're talking in a P4P sense, which has been established is a pretty ridiculous idea.

With Jackson you just never know, but Marlon SHOULD have this wrapped up without too much bother.

Jackson by brutal KO if they were to fight at their natural weights, though at 147 Jackson would be too drained.

Starling would probably just gointo a defensive shell and clown the fight away once he tasted Jackson's power.

If they were the same size it might be different.

Jackson would have won. I think Jackson gets shortchanged quite a bit in fantasy matchups, it seems as if everyone says he would get outboxed more often than not and only one of his trademark one punch kayos would win the fight for him should he land it.

I am always surprised when I read this because Julian was a very tidy puncher and threw those short, compact punches of his to both head and body very effectively, he wasn`t some wild swinging brawler in there in any way, shape or form.

I think he would have punched right through Marlon`s high guard more often than not, and even when he lands on the magic mans elbows, forearms or gloves they will take their toll on him and as the fight progresses it will be harder for him to keep them hands up properly...

I don`t care who you are if Julian Jackson is hitting you repeatedly anywhere on your body he is going to lay a hurting on you, and Marlon for all his defensive prowess stood in front of his man rather than making use of his legs to get out of harms way.

Thus, he will be within Julian`s punching range and I think he will go into a defensive shell as Mantequilla stated once he tastes that power and will lose a decision or get stopped late.
