At Welterweight, Marlon wins, at Jr Middleweight, Marlon has enough experience to see him through the final bell, but Julian wins.

Starling is way more skilled than Jackson ever was, but Jack's power was insane... However, at 147, I like Marlon.... At 154 to 160, well, Jules Jackson is probably too strong for Marlon Starling there....

Supposing that he couldn't make it , d 1 surest thing is that he was 1 of d lightest light middleweights ever , him and Terry Norris can both b matched against welterweights and d size difference will b more reasonable than many in-class differences that occured .
Besides , since Starling performed well in his 1 160 outing , it can b assumed that he could have done well at 154 , not 2 mention a catchweight between 147 and 154 that Jackson could have comfortable made 4 sure .

very wrong . despite of him successfuly campaigning at 160 , follow his weighing in weights along his career and c what a light lightmiddleweight he was , and again , it can b at 154 (Marlon fought at 160) , or a catchweight somewhere above 147 .

If McCallum did it , maybe Starling could
If McClellan barely did it , and well past Jackson's prime and above d weight range refered 2 here , maybe Starling could not
If Molinares did it , so could Jackson .
But IDK , I just really dislike d almost overwhelming favoring of Starling here .
Jackson was d opposite from Curry , 1 competed at weight classes he could have most easily avoided by remaining at 154 and fighting catchweights below 154 , while d other clinged 2 147 with all of his might and beyond it at all cost .
therefore , p4p Jackson >> Curry , and due 2 it and d above comparisons i think i favor Jackson even if not strongly .

Size isn't an issue here, so match them at 154.

Starling has the skills to offset Jackson, but Jackson would find his spots more often than not. He picked his shots well anyway. Buster Drayton, not on Starling's level defensively did employ a tight guard and Jackson squeezed shots through it that were deadly.

Moochy had a tendency to clown but he did not have a tendency to run. I have only seen one fighter consistently push Starling back and that was a prime Don Curry in their second meeting. Starling operated exclusively inside punching range, and always tried to find a way into his man's grill and work his frustrating and bullish inside game. Jackson can push him back and create space, and that's when Starling gets zapped.

Jackson wouldn't have to look hard to find him. As tough as Moochy was his freak K.O against Molinares showed once again that any quality of chin can be cracked.

Jackson wouldn't need controversy and 'what if' here. He lay hands on Starling at some point, anywhere between rounds 1&12 and bangs him out. Starling is in with a very dangerous man here, who wasn't stupid, who put his shots together well and could catch a man with a little bit of confidence, which The Magic Man wasn't short of by the way, and lay waste to him unlike perhaps any K.O artist in history. Starling would do that trip to the canvas, as much as it pains me to say...
