julian jackson vs marvin hagler

Well I think Jackson has a "puncher's chance" against just about any 154-160 lb fighter ever, even the iron chins, if he lands the perfect, blind shot. If it doesn't drop them, it at least would hurt them enough where Jackson can follow up and try to drop them.

But what are the chances of that happening, him landing a shot like he did against Graham, who basically walked into the punch?

 

no dont...even mugabi who had 23 kos in 23 fights...he was obviously a sick puncher too...but jacksons were on a different level...its like when albert pujols or canseco or mark mcgwire would take batting practice...everyone said the the ball totally had a different sound coming off their bat than any of the other big hitters of their time...
jackson has probably the best hilight level kos of all time...the ones that get KO of the year these days...those were in half of his fights... i think one time he was 43-1 with 41 kos....thats sick

This is my favorite MMH fight. Such a complete fighter. He's easily one of the most fundamentally sound fighters I've ever seen.

Bet if you made a poll on here where the question was to describe Hagler's style of fighting, most would vote for a brawling pressure fighter option though.

Many people haven't seen much of Hagler. Just the Hearns and Leonard fights, and selected highlights.
