Love Williams but he gets knocked out within a few rounds. He was touched up constantly throughout his career. He ate a lot of flush punches.
Williams who was a high energy volume puncher andwas wide open for counterpunchers against an ATG puncher would not serve well for him.. Jackson is eventually going to find his timing and crumble Williams at some point, perhaps while falling behind on points. It'll be similar to the Herol Graham fight, another southpaw who Jackson knocked out cold.
William's couldn't box a lick compared to the tricky Herol. Look at how Quintana befuddled an undefeated Williams.
I love Paul Williams but he wasn't an elite fighter, Julian would have stopped him late in the fight.
He had some decent boxing skills but he was just so offensive minded that he would rather keep swarming over his opponents despite being the taller, rangier fighter.
