Good one. I assume the Davey Moore Duran.

    Will cogitate on this.

Prior to the Moore fight it was thought by virtually all the boxing experts that Moore would KO Duran as it was though that he had significantly more punching power, yet throughout the fight the biggest factor in the bout was that Duran was able to not only handle Moore's power but deliver his own. Pretty much the same thing happened with Barkley with the exception that Duran caught a lot more punches and Barkley was probably a better puncher than even Moore. Given all this, I'm leaning towards the Duran who fought Moore over Jackson. Naturally if the Duran who fought Kirkland Lang showed up, he's going to sleep.

As has been mentioned Duran was superb at slipping head punches but hearns' reach was just sooo long.I'd expect Duran to KO Jackson.

Flukey? It's CLEARLY one of the fastest right-hands ever threw. The timing of it was beautiful.

    Nothing flukey about it.

Duran thumbed Moore, whom also came in injured before the fight even began and Barkley lost to everyone except Hearns. _________ Jackson is underrated and his power is overrated. Still, if Jackson comes in free of injuries, and Duran is not allowed to cheat, Jackson would have stopped the older and smaller man after a while. The Jackson that McCallum stopped could have done it quick.

Hearns double feinting to the body set it up. Beautiful KO, and as clean as they come.

hearns was beating the **** out of him since the start of the fight though, it wasn't just a KO out of nowhere.Duran did slip about ten deadly right hands after he was initially hurt mind you, but those great defensive instincts only helped briefly.

Honestly I think Duran schools him. Despite his vaunted power, I think Jackson would be looking for a KO that would not be there all night.

A fit Duran had the necessary skills to beat Jackson if they fought at 147-154 that being the Duran of Montreal or Barkley but he would have to be very careful because Jackson is one guy who hit even harder than Hearns.....so Duran would have to be careful early and in better condition than he was for Hearns

I think Duran of the Barkley fight gets horribly knocked out.he gets hit far too much by then, even if he's still taking the edge off a lot, and can't put consistent power on his shots anymore.

Duran cira Cuevas, Moore, Hagler has a good shot though.Especially if he thumbs him.

Yep. The sheer class of Duran would be too much for Julian, as was the case with Mike McCallum.

Both were just too good all round to lose to the Virgin Islander.

Duran would probably be winning on points...Jackson inevitably pulls a Hearns, though.
