Jackson was getting taken to school by herol graham before his insane power bailed him out. There's no way floyd would allow himself to get hit flush by jackson. He'd cruise to a UD imo.
anyone can find an out of weight class dif time period fight and say PBF will lose but until he does in REAL LIFE he is the best
interesting thread...maybe jackson hits him and takes him out, maybe he doesn't. i still think terry norris is a much worse fight for floyd at that weight *btw: ring didn't actually rank him at #6 all time, it was a typo on wikipedia. jackson was somewhere around 18 if memory serves
you can't stay gone for 2 years and remain the best ... just because you haven't lost..if that's the case then rocky marciano is still the best heavyweight in the world ... floyd left.... manny took over ... till floyd fights manny again .. he can't say hes' the best ... there is no "best in the world" emiratus status in boxing no matter what the wbc tries to tell you
and even then, there was no reason for graham to get nailed. he just did. it's impossible to say floyd wouldn't get hit to. these things can happen and if he did get hit, it's over. even glancing blows from him wore you down
roy jones jr vs mike tyson @ hw odlh vs marvin hagler @ mw manny pacman vs thomas hearns @ ww stop it
The minute Jackson even makes contact w/ Floyd's shoulder he'll go into pure defensive mode as Jackson would NEVER be bothered by Floyd's punching power at this weight class
Graham was a euro level fighter (although admittedly one of the better fighters out there who never managed win a world title) and yet he still managed to out-box Jackson for the duration of their fight. In Floyd you have a legitimate top 50 ATG. You can count on your hands the number of times he's been hit flush in his career. Personally I just don't see Jackson finding his chin.
Why don't you go ahead and match PBF up with a light heavy while you're at it? Would it make me look brilliant to make a thread "Klitschko would DESTROY Manny Pac!!" ?? Why the **** are you even making a thread about this? PBF is a tiny 147, who the **** cares about him at 154?
Julian Jackson always relied on his power, and not on technical skills, and plus to beat PBF you need SPEED, something Jackson doesn't have. PBF would counter-punch Jackson in the whole fight and finish up with a clean UD.
