No, Rosario and Jermall Charlo are just really heavy handed. Someone with a glass jaw couldn't take clean shots off of Gallimore, Centeno and Hurd without being violently KO'd.
the super welterweight division is pretty poor. A bunch of average joes. J-Rock losing to a guy who got knocked out by Gallimore.
J-Rock's chin isn't the best, but I think it's more due to him getting countered a lot in exchanges like against Rosario and Charlo.
Dude you are 1 of the more Disrespectful Posters of the past 10 years or so..... but.... YOU'RE RIGHT
Trust and believe Rosario team studied the Charlo fight and came up with a game plan. Those countering uppercuts got JROC up out of there with both Charlo and Rosario.
I don’t think he has glass. Guys with great chins also have the ability to minimize impact of punches to the jaw. He got caught pretty good yesterday and the cut didn’t do him any favors. I hope they rematch because I still like JRock. Upsets are part of boxing and although we hate to see our favorites lose, upsets make boxing exciting. Plus, everyone loves a comeback. He’s still young and talented and I think he will be back. Tough loss in front of the hometown last night.
I don't get why people call commenting on punch resistance "disrespectful." It is an important attribute in boxing, as this fight shows. If you can't take a good shot, you are going to have problems in this sport, and we, as fans, have a responsibility to note where this is the case. In short, my friend, glass jaws EXIST in boxing, despite what the deniers might say!
It's disrespectful because of the way you guys delight in it. No one denies that punch resistance is a thing, but you play the same note over and over and take a child like joy in what you consider a weak chin. I think most all of us like knockouts, but you ignore the health toll that these fighters suffer. And you would never, ever take that risk yourself. It's disrespectful when fans call fighters "bums" for the same reason. Keep in mind how many fighters got killed last year trying to better their lives. If fans have any obligation, it's not pointing out that someone can be hurt but that the person getting hurt is a human and not a mere shell for you and your degenerate followers to gravedance over.
