Julian Williams is a 25 year old 5'10 Junior Middleweight with a record of 21-0-1 13 KO's. Born in and fighting out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Will J-Rock Williams add to the long history of great boxers from Philidelphia and follow in the footsteps of giants like Frazier Liston Hopkins and ....Swift:blood at least the first 3. He seems to have his head screwed on straight and prides himself on living a life dedicated to training and being the best he can be and tries to avoid the many distractions and pitfalls that many other fighters happen to fall into, so far he's been quite impressive especially in his destruction of Freddy Hernandez, he was beating up Hugo Centeno Jr. until an accidental butt caused the fight to be stopped and called a NC. He's very methodical, cautious and intelligent but far from boring he's a hard hitter that takes his time to wear down his opponents and get them out of there he has a pretty good left hook and his right ain't bad either. Philly is in need of another breakout star maybe J-Rock is the man for the job, in my personal opinion, he's one of the best fighters the US has to offer. I really liked the look of J Rock, but whenever I see a guy who can't KO Alcine it always triggers alarm bells  (which is probably slightly unfair) - furthermore despite the KDs it was far from a shutout with J Rock gassing, getting hurt and losing the later rounds.

Nonetheless. It was still a decent win, and generally Williams looks much more dominant - it could just have been a bad night... nonetheless there's got to be questions over this kid as he steps up his level of opposition.

EDIT. Hmm. Shame. Can't find footage of J Rock vs Alcine.

middleweight heavy hitter Lemieux also failed to KO Alcine, so it may not be as easy as it looks some times.

One of these guys thats pretty good at a lot of things but not exceptional at anything.

I definitely see him picking up a belt someday.

Alcine was evidently having an off night when Macklin stopped him, if I remember correctly I think J-Rock dropped him 3 times but Alcine made him look bad late in the fight. But like Koba said it does concern me a little.
