December eighteenth in Culiacán. Scheduled for ten rounds, light heavyweight.

The "hijo de leyenda" JCCC is batting exactly .500 in the last 9½ years, going 6-6 beginning with the loss to Maravilla in 2012. He most recently dropped a SD to 46 year old Brazilian former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.

Zegarra is coming off three consecutive stoppage losses, including having inexplicably headlined a $20 internet PPV with David Lemieux. Whenever he competes at home in Peru, he is victorious; when he ventures abroad, he isn't.

Craptastic day for boxing this is gonna be - in the afternoon we have Parker vs. Chisora II but then later on, evening/nighttime in the Western hemisphere? This ...might actually be the highest-profile card going. :ohno
