FMJ has more skill in his little finger than Chavez has in his whole body and yes he's tougher, yep you won't see him quit begging for a gift TD

Chavez is one of the best exponents of educated pressure of all time though, most come forward guys are going to lose to Floyd, but educated pressure is no joke. It's not out of the question to favour Chavez imo

It would be a good fight. Chavez would make Floyd work if he could catch him.

I'd favour mayweather at 130. At 135 i'd have to back Chavez though

He was underrated in the skills department imo. He had great accuracy,a good arsenal of punches including a great jab when he needed it along with good combination punching and finishing skills. His body attack was something special aswell

The thing is pressure has never beat Floyd, its given him a close fight. People will undoubtadly bring up Castillo here, but Castillo had something like 10lbs on Floyd that night after rehydrating and thats ignoring any injuries FMJ was carrying. And still its the biggest case of 'fans' shout robbery of a very close fight the supposed robbery victim gave away the first 5 rounds. Castillo admitted he didn't start early enough

If Castillo could make it close, Chavez would win. Close decision in Chavez favour.

A better question is would Mayweather have the balls to face someone as tough as Chavez, or would he go on a vacation. :yep

I would favor Chavez on this one...I know Money had power in this weight, but it sure as **** wont be enough to keep Chavez off of him...Floyd will be there against a much better and durable fighter than Jose Luis Castillo.

Oh i agree, you're clearly right, that's why i brought up that come forward fighters have hardly any chance of beating prime Floyd. But i just wanted to mention that elite educated pressure is not merely the same as aggression.

In all fairness the rematch was pretty one sided and gave some credibility to Floyds injured hand. Chavez is a live dog for me though definitely, not sure who wins.
