1st one would just be to acclimate him at that weight, 2nd would be to give him somewhat of a test before a froch or a ward.

i can see a tough grueling fight if it happens but i think chavez jr will be fighting someone like allen green instead of froch

 

Froch would beat the stuffing out of that roided up Mexican chump. Don't expect it to happen soon though, if Jr. had any balls he'd be fighting at SMW or LHW instead of illegally draining himself to 160 to bully the MW's.

Chavez is too open for a guy as experienced as Froch. Froch's right hand will look like Thomas Hearns right hand against Chavez. That is how easily and clean he will land it. Froch is a professional at this point, and Chavez is still learning. Chavez style is exciting but the bulling guys around and overpowering them will not work at the elite level. But I am excited about how well JCC Jr is progressing. He is better than I ever thought he would become. He has some of his father's skills, but his father was all around a great fighter and better defensively.
