Chavez is just pissed off that DLH is not fighting his son instead so both of them can enjoy the money, he already said that they offered DLH a fight with his son but DLH turned it down and he's pissed off about it.

DLH has money, far more than Chavez ever made and he's pissed off about it. Why didn't he praise DLH for fighting Hopkins?, he just wants DLH to fight his son so he could enjoy some of the money that would provide, sadly his son can't get past journeymen yet he expects a megafight with DLH?, Margarito who is coming off a major victory isn't a big name yet either how the hell is his son worthy of a fight like that?, that would be Forbes/DLH quality not a megafight.

It's all about money, love from his people won't pay the bills and DLH is a proven smart business man. If it makes money then it makes sense and a fight with Pac makes FAR more money than Margarito.

I guess my whole problem with this isn't that Chavez is wrong but in that a defeated foe talking crap just comes off as bad. Chavez is just expressing something we all feel but he could do it without bringing up the Mexican issue.

Dude....Chavez made legit points, so it's not like "He's just pissed...".

That's like the old, "He's just jealous" retort so many give. And at least Jr. is DLh's size. that's what this is also about. fighting someone so much smaller.

Now that Chavez Jr. has been thrown into this mix, I was thinking that Chavez Jr. vs Manny Pacquiao at 147 lbs would be more competitive than either DLH fights with Pac or Jr.

......I'd even pick Jr. to stop Manny Pacquiao!

Probably not at all. He's commenting on DLH picking on such a smaller guy, which so many of you seem to not be able to grasp and cam only concentrate on their fights.

I disagree....DLH is a natrual WW. Just b/c he's been fighting at Super WW for a while doesn't mean that's his natrual division. i.e. Shane Mosely.

I DO UNDERSTAND that PAC is at a HUGE disadvantage given the fact that he only had one fight at 135, no fights at 140 or 147. It's definitly an advantage for DLH.

I think that is the BIGGEST issue I have with this match, but ultimately this kind of thing isn't new to boxing....Manny is just leap frogging weight classes which can be dangerous with a guy like DLH, but he is his own man and PAC feels he can pull this off.

You're point is well taken.....it seems to be a mismatch, but I'm HOPING......That PAC surprises us with an exciting clear cut Victory over DLH. Of course realistically I doubt that will happen, but how sweet would that be?

even though chavez is bitter from the losses from dlh. he does make sense. by fighting a guy who was a former flywieght while you got fighters like paul williams and margarito out there, dlh looks almost as bad as he did when he was wearing high heels. hes just emnarassing himself. and imagine how dumb dlh will look if he loses. as far the mexican love, dlh does feel a bit insecure with hardcore mexican fans becasue of when he ran from trinidad but mostly because some mexicans think he acts like hes white instead of mexican.
