Right after his fight against Vanda, Jr. said in the interview that he had to re-evaluate his boxing career. Chavez Sr., who was acting as a commentator for TV Azteca that night, got very angry on air and said that he had a lot to talk to Jr. Before Jr. said that, Sr. had been apologetic of his crappy performance.

I'm sure that kid has tried to get away from boxing a few times.

Here's Julio Cesar Chavez Jr's excuse for taking drugs (furosemide), you're not gonna believe it:

    "I had brochitis" :happy

Surely that's not the first time I've heard that excuse...

But the WBC is once again stealing the show: instead of banning Chavez Jr. according to it's rules, here's the punishment of Don Jose Sulaiman:

"We have sent Julio to a specialist at UCLA to check him in regards to content of fat in his body, and receive a scientific opinion about where he should fight. I would like him to do that - yes."

That's a bit TOO HARD on Chavez Jr. for failing a tiny little post-fight drug test, don't you think? I mean banishment and a fine would be one thing, happened before, but to go to a ****ing specialist and check your body fat? Waaaay too much. I hope Chavez Jr will appeal. :patsch

Jesus Christ, how the hell can the WBC reach a new low point every week? We can only hope they are holding something equally outrageous for Christmas.

Dam they'll have to overturn his win over Jim Bob from Nebraska. That will probably ruin his legacy.

I believe he is the primary source of income for the Chavez family right now. He obviously is nowhere near as great a fighter as his father, but his name makes a lot of hard cash, and the Chavez's have always been known for living beyond their means. Julio Sr was notorious for spending money on parties and women and booze.

While they do not live as lavish as they once did, they still have never learned how to manage their money. As long as Jr keeps on fighting and stays undefeated, they can stay afloat

This can only mean the drug test is working. Both Pac and Cotto fought that night and they both tested negative.

Yeah but the "Winner" will probably post a "Negative" test!! As a result, the loser (Who was jacked up to the balls and had his gloves encased in cement) will be declared the winner!!
