Vera is one tough *******. He should go back to 160 because he's too featherfisted at 168.

    Round 12

Chavez is circling away, tilting his upper body, making Vera miss his lunging jab. Chavez seems to be getting on his bike in the opening half minute. Never mind. :yep Chavez moves in and rumbles with Vera, trading jabs and chopping rights. Vera is now backed out. Vera steps in and throws a chopping right. Chavez falls on his ass, slipping on the canvas. Jabs by Vera, looking for the chin of Chavez. Showboating by Chavez, spinning his right arm out behind himself. Chavez now does get fully on his bike, running around the ring and continuing to spin the right arm in windmills out behind his back, clowning. Vera is angry, moving forward and flurrying hard off his jab as the crowd boos Chavez. Vera is marching forward, guard up, dropping hard jabs but falling short. Big overhand right by Vera, missing as Chavez dances away. Big flurries by Vera, all hitting glove or missing. Vera gets a jab on the face of Chavez, finally.

    10-9 Vera

    115-112 Chavez
