Sandoval is finding him with his jabs and right hands, willingly getting a piece of whatever Gutierrez offers including legal scoring areas on the body and top of the head as well as arms and hips. A few counter rights by Gutierrez, mostly defending in flight.

He is doing alright here. Gutierrez was once a serviceable contender...but he is way past his best now.

 

Round 4

Sandoval is walking through Gutierrez's defense and intermittent (but fancy looking) Mayweather style counters. Sandoval is just draping leather over Gutierrez by the boatload, little of it perfectly flush due to Gutierrez's anticipation, slippery movements, and veteran instincts, but touching him more than enough to clearly be dominating...especially in such contrast with Gutierrez's pitiful output.

Round 5

Sandoval is mixing in jabs on the chin and abdomen of Gutierrez, knifing straight through his thumbs and elbows despite Gutierrez keeping his guard solidly in place. Gutierrez is dancing to his left and moving his head but Sandoval is drowning the awkward Colombian with punches wherever he goes, always right in front of him and throwing meaningful shots in groups.

Sandoval is jabbing Gutierrez in the face constantly and moving left to fade offline when Gutierrez counters up with his own jab. Threshing right to the body by Sandoval. Gutierrez holds. Sandoval is landing his jab between the eyes. Gutierrez ducks in and bangs the hips of Sandoval.

Round 7

Sandoval is jabbing over Gutierrez's head and missing with uppercuts in the clinch as Gutierrez slides his head down past Sandoval's butt. Gutierrez is using lots of tricks on the youngster and snaps his head back with a right hand rising up from a crouch. Gutierrez is throwing combos diving in, holding, letting go and repeating. Sandoval keeps punching but hasn't touched Gutierrez cleanly once in three minutes.
