I think Barker would make a go of it, but I see Chavez overwhelming him.

    Chavez stoppage late.

Or he may survive to the end with a negative performance.

Out of Macklin, Lee and Barker I think Macklin is the only one with a chance of beating Chavez simply down to styles. Lee and Barker would both have success on the outside but I think junior would manage to turn the fights into wars, make the fight on the inside and grind both down.

Macklin is a better inside fighter than the other 2 imo bit even then I think Macklin tires and loses a close points decision.

Junior is a very underrated fighter imo. Not on the level of a world champion yet, but he is one of the best contenders in a poor division imo

    Chavez wiiiiiiiiiiiide UD.

Possible stoppage for Chavez depending on if/how he works the body under/around Barker's guard.

The more I think about it actually the less chances I see for Barker getting the win here.

Sturm better suited for Barker I think.

Macklin would stand the best chance out of British and Irish middleweights against Chavez, pressure on inside forcing Chavez to box off the back foot. Decent looking chin on JCC Jr though.

Yeah if JCC Jr has inherited anything from his Dad, it's his chin.

One thing that bugs me bout Junior is the way people write him off as never being near as good as his dad. I'm not saying he will be as very few fighters will be as good as senior bit if you compare father and sons first 45 fights, it looks on paper as if junior has fought better opposition in that period

Barker would have to beat Chavez convincingly to get the judges decision. Can't see that happening.

Barker falls just short for me. It's good he's getting the big American fights though. He should earn a few shillings. The Hearn's are showing their worth.
