Kirkland a monster @ 154 I wonder if he can carry his power my bet is he does. I'm sure he'd stun, perhaps floor Jr in worst case scenerio, but he is alot more busy then Jr. He could dominate Jr with speed and has more pop, but I could see Jr coming on strong late once again. Kirkland has improved, has a better ring IQ, more importantly more active, and I can see him outworking Jr early, but getting his stamina tested and his weak point, his chin. Kirkland doesnt have the defense or slickness of Maravilla, but he does have the will. I do think Jr will do to Kirkland what Pappa Julio did with Taylor. Jr might establish himself like Maravilla as a drama king and earn more fans that way. Unfortunately, this fight won't happen because of Top Rank and GBP. Arum supposedly did mention something about working together in the future, it is 2013 by the ways. He said that 2012 so we'll see, but I wouldn't hold my breath on it.

Chavez Jr isn't that good but he would Obliterate Kirklands Glass Jaw. Would be a highlight reel type KO.

to be honest guys i think this is a very quick fight. i doubt it goes long enough to be a war at all. jcc jr would ko kirkland in the first couple of rds. even if it went longer he couldnt hurt chavez at all in my opinion and thus chavez would just walk him down.

This fight will come down to who's chin will hold up and who's will shatter. Both Kirkland and Chavez Jr. have power but limited boxing skills. However, I do believe Jr. has a better and more durable chin than James.

I see Chavez Jr. taking the win here via TKO, that's the only was this fight will end TKO no matter who the winner is.

I'd love to see this fight. Chavez deserves to take on someone smaller than him for a change.

As hard as Kirkland hits, he probably doesn't knock Chavez out - and with his own chin he isn't lasting 12 rounds (or even 10) getting ground down.

    Flattering victory for Jr.

I'll take Jr by mid fight KO in a great, wild brawl.

Would love to see this fight.

Chavez Jr. would stop Kirkland with ease inside the first 4 rounds.

Kirkland could be competitive at 160 , he doesnt have to make the full weight limit , he can come in @ 157,158 . I wouldent say he has a glass jaw , i say he has an unreliable jaw . If he had a glass jaw he would not have been able to walk through bombs from a knockout artist like Joel Julio . People are looking into the Ishida fight too much . I feel Kirkland would rise to the occasion and give Chavez a hellacious fight . Both fighters can very well hit the canvas . But when its all said and done, i think Chavez will be able to absorb everything Kirkland throws at him and break him down . A bloody Chavez by 8th rnd TKO
