    i've seen him get hit a lot worse...against Mthalane and Concepcion

    his face got busted up because Vazquez obviously is way more heavy handed than some flyweight midget

    Vazquez won 3 rounds at most, we're supposed to get giddy over that?

    Chavez is winding in and dipping left and right as he puts forth jabs and scooping body shots. Rubio backs up, rolling behind his left shoulder and flipping out left jabs and right uppercuts. Rubio has his arms shaking around at his sides, elbows jutting out. Chavez throws a long jab and keeps moving on the outside, ducking and dipping. Rubio throws a jab over Chavez's head. Jab to the face by Chavez, and a combination of hooks putting Rubio on the ropes. Rubio more active again, but...

    Competitive first two rounds. Rubio looking surprisingly mobile. Chavez coming in as a cruiser is a little confusing. How can one rehydrate 21 pounds over night?

    Chavez did a good job this round with the body work and picking up the pace. Rubio seemed like he didn't like the increase in action.
