    I would still love to see JCC jr fight JEff fenech or jorge maro mero paez instead but hey Demers vs Chavez jr aint bad.

    chavez jr. needs to fight someone with a little relevance to him. beating up some clubfighter doesnt make you anything than a clubfighter..........maybe a better clubfighter than the guy you whip, but it dont hold any water at anything even remotely close to world level.

    that's the thing though, who's saying he is.....most of his fans are just excited to have a "chavez" back in the ring....nobody is even comparing him to his dad, or even other champs....only his haters are doing that :deal

    They should put in vanes and jcc jr, I think that would be an interesting matchup of up and comers. I think vanes by KO.

    How many times do I have to tell people in here that this kid doesn't have any amateur background??? Not a single round! :D

    He's getting the ring experience he needed by fighting fighters like Vanda. :lol:

    I know it's awful but try not to hold it against JCC Jr. I doubt it's his decision and I'm sure he understands what he's gotta do to get better and how to go about this.

    My main worry is that the people who are putting this on PPV will try to use this against him and milk his run against less than stellar opposition to try and sell him as a valid successor to the Chavez name.
