    Round 4

Escamilla goes wild! Shots land for both! No jabs here. All wild hooks, uppers, and haymakers. Otero seems to have more pop but he's getting hit a lot more in the 4th. Escamilla is all over his man, slapping away. Otero lands a big hook! Escamilla's neck is bent back and he grimaces open-mouthed. Escamilla keeps coming, slugging away. Otero hooks him in the head. Escamilla circles to his right. 1-2 by Escamilla. Thirty seconds left. They slap-hook together and miss, falling in together. Jabs to the face by Otero. Escamilla slaps away but Otero puts his left arm out to hold him in place and bangs back with his right.

That was Escamilla's best round and he definitely won the first ninety seconds, but...

    40-36 Otero

Not sure how a judge had that a draw.

When is Chavez due to enter the ring? And is the boxnation stream on their website working for anyone else? Cheers

Bey bit off more than he could chew last time he was in with a tough Mexican (actually Mexican-American journeyman), when Loco Hernandez gave him a bit of a scare.

Chavez won't be for a while I don't think, the Boxnation TV broadcast starts at 2, I've never used their site though.

Mickey Bey is a great prospect. He will easily beat Velazquez at this point.

Chavez and Manfredo will take the ring some time between 11:30pm and midnight EST. (two and a half to three hours from now)

Did you see that one, SS?

I had Bey winning a narrow 77-75 but thought the draw was very reasonable. Loco gave him too many problems for a really great prospect.
