    What do you guys think of this fight on Saturday ?

    Somethng about this fight to me is very intriguing, it's when Manfredo says he will definitely retire if he loses this fight, that means 1 of 2 things.

    1. He will go out there and just collect his last big payday before walking away.

    2. He'll go out there and leave everything in the ring


    I think (and hope) that Manfredo really goes for it, he's on the best form of his career coming into this, it's a world title challenge at his natural weight and I honestly think he could give Chavez Jr. some real problems but it's gotta be the best Peter Manfredo Jr. that turns up, that one can win, any other will surely lose on saturday night.


    Thoughts?

    The only way he is winning is by ko...and even though I dont like Chavez at all I dont see that happening...the kid has good whiskers

    Manfredo seems to be on a pretty decent run winning his last 6 but Chavez will still pick up a pretty solid UD or late stoppage

    Manfredo is not great. If Chavez cannot beat him, he really should not be champ.. I think Chavez beats him in 8 or 9.

    He ain't the champ. I saw Zbik winning but, regardless of that we all know who's the champ. I got him over Manfredo by stoppage (10th round).

    Neither is Chavez Jr., though. Both are tough, but I agree Chavez gets the W. UD. He might be just a little too much for Manfredo.

    Manfredo has to win by KO , which will be difficult. My prediction is that Manfredo wins the fight in the ring , but loses it by robbery to the judges.

    The Chavez I watched fight Rowland, Duddy, Lyell, and Zbik is not good enough to beat a focused Manfredo. Manfredo by late stoppage. Peter's got more ability and more power. Add to that, he's ffing hungry to win this fight. Chavez just thinks he deserves to win. Spoiled rich kid gets knocked off so the other man can feed his family.
