I remember very well seeing him knock out Rafael Ruelas, Genaro Hernandez and Jesse James Leija all in the same year.

    Hence, a beast at 135.

Dog, you are probably a rabid Chavez fan or a rabid DLH hater. Get over the fact that ODLH busted Chavez up twice or the fact that you feel inferior to another man.

Saying chavez sold out is the most disrespectful thing that a fan can say about him. The man dedicated his life to your viewing pleasure.

So, you did see the blood gushing from his mouth from the bad cut inside of the mouth, right?

Another reason why I think he would have beaten Chavez.

Uli; thats why I don't post here and just read. it's **** asses like you that can't see what's happening in a fight. then want to argue about it for months. I still don't believe in the first dlh/chavez , chavez was cut on the first punch and bleeding like someone opened the flood gates. looked phoney to me .(chavez is not a big bleeder) in over 90 fights. the second fight I saw chavez making dlh miss like crazy, try slow motion. and there is no way dlh beat pernell. the dlh/genero herandez fight dlh hit nothing but air for 6 rounds but larry merchant said dlh was connecting with every punch , bull**** genero was giving dlh a boxing lesson till he so called got his jaw broken. again i don't believe it. in fact john john molina beat dlh on tuesday night fight and got robbed. his wig falling off and all. and what was he all of 130 lbs.? dlh was lucky to win the quartey fight. call me a dlh hater. I think he's over rated

DLH was winning that fight. Chavez did well considering the stage in their careers but by no means was he winning the last 2-3 rounds befor the cut.

Chavez claimed he was cut earlier when he bumped heads with his son, haha..

I don't know the cause but the way it happened, it was most likely a pre-existing cut.

    It was his nose.

Molina made things rough for DLH, it helped that he was fouling every 10 seconds, but the cards were fair.

    Agreed.

Good bye!:hi: We don't need anymore lameasses that claim the fighters like Chavez sell out, especially when they are losing a pint of blood per round. Don't let the door hit you on the way out:smooch :hi:

    :patsch :patsch :patsch

I think he's right, off to bed for you. You must be losing a pint of blood every 3 minutes to be coming out with garbage like a true warrior like Chavez would throw a fight. Blasphemy.

I remember all of those fights and Leija who respect had no business in the ring with Oscar or Mosley at 135. Genero another good fighter and champ had no business at 135. He was a 130 champ. Ruelas was at 140. Molina was a very good fight. What I am getting at is that Oscar was not as good as Chavez at 135. Chavez would have stopped most or all of the 135 opponents of Oscar. Chavez would have put it on Oscar, but Oscar would go the twelve rounds getting even more respect for taking it to Chavez and going the twelve. Those vicious left hooks to the body from Chavez was no joke. Your right as far as calling Oscar a beast, but prime for prime, Chavez would have slayed the beast at 135.

Not for nothing, but Chavez was already done by the time he fought Oscar. It was more money motivated than anything else. Those two fights should not even count.
