Sergio is 20x more durable than Lee, Lee folded against Vera!!! VERA!!!! That would be Ko 3 for Sergio, Lee also was done vs Mcewan before pulling out a miracle. Sergio is James Toney compared Lee. He took bombs from Pavlik who punches harder than Chavez. I don't write Chavez off here, he's a better fighter than most give him credit for and he's got a chance to beat Sergio and wear him down to the body but if he fights like he did vs Lee with that low workrate in the first few rounds he's done for. He needs to stay busy from the opening bell til the end or he'll get picked apart and I don't think he has it in him to hustle from start to finish.

 

Lee's mistake was a 16x16 ring in state of texas.

I think you've not seen much from Martinez man...Just watch the Pavlik fight and he was throwing combos all night which is the reason why he cut Pavlik on both eyes...Fight will be hard...from what I heard I expect Martinez to fight against Julio on the inside

The ring looked 16x16 in that fight. If its the same for Martinez he's up **** creek with no paddles.

against a guy like martinez, i'd rather have the arsenal of jr anyday....pavlik is and always has been a 1 2 kinda guy...easy for someone like martinez with good footwork to not really get touched clean .....chavez is a bully on the inside, perfect for a slickster...that's of course if he can catch him though

Agreed. When you fight a guy like Martinez, you need to rough him up and go downstairs; try to "take the air out of the tires" as Teddy Atlas would say.

Pavlik kept throwing upstairs, and Sergio was able to move his head and avoid many of those shots. Jr. will concentrate downstairs, though.
