Oh yes, we forget, oh how we forget, a colossus, what ever weight you class him in, he beats every former champ in that weight, lots of talk on here re: P4P, ATG, H2H, etc, JCC close's down the argument, he was, he is, and will be for evermore.

depends on who you throw at him. you want to talk arguello, floyd, pac, pea, etc..., then theres something to talk about. you want to throw him in with guys with fewer than 20 fights, just because they are fighting today? knock yourself out.

I think he was the best lightweight since Duran, his best weight class and an absolute wrestling machine. I think he would have handled both guys with ease.

It's not a fair fight though. Chavez has a 3cm reach and a 1cm height advantage over Loma. That's like a natural superfeather fighting a welterweight.

naah. chavez was a better lw. even at 140, lou duva is quoted as saying they avoided him. they didnt want that work. by the time they finally did meet, chavez was out of his weight and visibly slower. not taking anything from his win over jc, i was there live, and thought chavez didnt do enough for a win, and pea fought his fight...but everything happened the way it happened.

Yeah, I think he wrecks Lopez, Loma has no business in there with Chavez at the age of 33 at 135 pounds. 130 pounds a few years ago would be more interesting

I dunno on the same night but Id pick him to beat both pretty clearly, possibly both by stoppage.
