Lol at the Maidana comparison. A prime Mayweather would leave Sr. biting the dust..

Well that tells me you know more about boxing than most on this site.

Many here are young and think boxing didn't exist before Mayweather came around.

They have no idea who Benny Leonard is, Joe Gans, Sam Langford, Armstong, SRR etc. and although they may have heard the names of Duran, SRL, Hagler, Hearns, Benitez Whitaker, Chavez, etc. they haven't seen any of their fights.

Funny reading how MW would do to Chavez what Whitiker did yet both guys guys fight nothing alike and Whitiker is much more battle tested that Mayweather ever was !

Duran would beat the **** out of Mayweather way worse than Castillo did...Chavez Sr with some problems down the road would get to him late IMO...Mayweather is not of Sweet Pea's level.

Whitaker had superb offense, people just recall Whiatker's disgraceful perfomance against DLH where he was running the entire night.

I believe Floyd would outpoint Chavez.

Roberto was an entirely different animal, however. At 135 the hard hitting Panamanian bullies Floyd and wins a competitive but clear decision.

Prime Mayweather beats prime Chavez Sr. by unanimous decision. I'd say something like eight rounds to four for Mayweather.

De La Hoya, Pacquiao, Cotto all beat then the slow, flat footed Chavez Sr.

Mayweather beats him by a wide margin.

You're a fking moron, in no way was he implying that gatti was similar to chavez in anyway, he was simply stating that chavez would be fighting a prime Floyd like the one in the Gatti fight, not a nearly 40 year old Floyd. Jesus christ, I swear some people on esb are ret-arded, and have 0 comprehension skills.
