I guess knockouts really do cause amnesia. In both fights Chavez was losing to Roger before he quit...on all the cards. If Roger had any type of proper training ethics he wins both fights by decision.

It depends on what weight class. At the lower weights Floyd was more aggressive and explosive, Chavez would have more chances to hit him. A heavier, more defensive Floyd would grind out a narrow UD, but it would be close.

Chavez isn't the best example of who could beat Floyd, however, both Hearns and SRL would put a serious hurting on Floyd at WW. Both would win by a KO or wide UDs. Floyd literally has nothing to trouble either of those at WW. Floyd is really a lighter fighter.

Big deal if he was a sparring partner all fighters have been a sparring partners for a more established fighter at some point in their careers. :deal That isn't saying much. Also, I could have sworn PBF was 2-0 against JLC.
JCC wouldn't do anything the guy has an overrated resume and was on the recieving end of one of the best boxing clinics of the last 30 years at the hands of Pea Whitaker. The only HOF fighter he beat was Rosario his resume is one of the most overrated things in boxing.

JCC struggled with plenty of fighters and lost to fighters who weren't on PBF's level.:deal The difference is PBF won and JCC lost.

Floyd has a 6 inch reach advantage over both Duran and Chavez

Ask Pacqiauo how important reach advantage is against a very good, smart, boxer who can fight off the backfoot.

    :good

It's one thing suggesting Margarito could've beaten him, it's a whole different ballpark proposing ****ing Chavez Sr in there with him.

I'm sure Roger Mayweather had an even longer reach over Chavez, and he was naturally bigger... Didn't stop chavez from using his nappy ass to mop the floor, TWICE. :deal

Floyd Mayweather Jr. recieved a gift after getting his ass handed to him by Jose Luis Castillo. JLC is not even on Chavez' level, to suggest otherwise is pure nuthuggery on your part.

We saw what Whitaker did with Chavez, he beat the **** out of him and made him look like an amateur

Floyd is better than SPW, he would have his way with Chavez. He might even stop him late.

Similar actually. Chavez handled Roger Mayweather like he was some kind of Grand Rapids Shoe Shiner, while he may possibly take a little longer getting to Mayweather Jr. than Roger, he will is catch up to Floyd the way B level Castillo did.
