They're looking to get paid. Sorry to be a dick, but they're not doing it for our benefit.

    Warriors. Courage, respect, nobility.

Characters that set them apart from ordinary men.

    You are so wrong.

When Chavez was going through hard times and battling his addiction with cocaine, Camacho was one of the first to reach out to him. Chavez said that's when the respect he had for Camacho really grew. He said Hector was a wild man but his heart was in the right place, and very much appreciated his support.

Puertorricane, your hate towards Mexicans will always keep you sour. Let it go man. Chavez is giving a very sincere statement here and you want to call him a hypocrite. He never said Camacho was perfect and try to paint a pretty picture, that would of been hypocritical.

I'm not trying to start a Mex vs PR argument during these sad times, just saying you should be more respectful of these types of statements especial when they come from the heart. Peace. Camacho will be missed by every true fan of the sport.

Well said! With his words, Chavez painted Camacho perfectly. Never saying Camacho was a great person but conceding his deficiencies but adding he was a true friend, the one he had more comraderie with than any other opponent he ever faced.

Camacho es un gran amigo translates to Camacho is a great friend.
