All Mexican dust up, would certainly be a classic, although I’d probably favour Chavez.
I don’t know too much about Chavez at SFW, not sure whether he was green there or what, that’s why I’m making this matchup, maybe it’s an obvious matchup, or maybe he was green enough for Navarrete to have a chance.

    Who wins this matchup?

Chavez would beat him very clearly and convincingly.

    I should add this.
Chavez was brought along and developed properly. When he made his entrance onto the big stage- his debut in LA was followed 2 fights later by his first world title fight- he was ready for the moment. He won the title in his 44th or 45th fight, I believe. In his first defense he fought Ruben Castillo, and Ruben was a very good fight that had given Sanchez a tough fight as well as Arguello and Chavez took him apart in 6. The skill level in that fight was immense but Chavez was too much for him.

Navarrette is the most entertaining boxer right now imo, but I think Chavez is just better in almost every way.

Chavez blasts him off easily, it wouldn't even be competitive.
