Ken certainly had more Bounce-per-Ounce in those legs than most, and unlike most boxers did not find the ropes a spiders web, spinning up down , left right..and whirling away behind a flicking Jab and a blur of tartan shorts and flicking heels, this is not an easy man to pin down, and if you do...he is flint hard...Duran beat Buchanan because of his wild unpredictable aggression as much as anything..Ken couldnt quite map him..and kept having his rhythm broken, and thats not to mention the careless headwork and low blow from the wild street kid from Panama, by contrast Julio is very patient his educated output will perhaps lend itself to being anticipated a little more than the Panamanian wild kid, For sure Ken is not going to hurt Julio, but Julio is not a great one punch destroyer so will have to build up an momentum, his ability to cut the ring will help, and those left hooks to the body could pay dividends down the road...a 15 rounder might suit Julio more perhaps...or it might be additional rounds of frustration for him...i cant help feel that Julios cultured application comes at the price of predictability..and unlike say Rosario and so many others..Ken can deal with it ...Just... Buchanan close on points for me.
Well written Area. I see it pretty much the same with Julio edging it out (though I want to agree and saying Kenny!).
