These are two of the best defensive artists in history.
pretty much impossible to catch either clean.
Locche was a rolling, slipping, parrying showman, an absolute millimetre perfect once in a lifetime type of defence.
Chavez wasn't far behind, him it was extremely difficult to catch chavez with anything meaningful and he punished you horribly for trying.
Anyone can run on long legs but the ability to slip shot after shot after shot thrown by the best fighters in the world, staying calm while nuclear bombs miss by millimetres then returning fire with superb precision, is an art these two elevated to a new level.
While I give the edge to locche defensively Chavez was just so much more complete.
chavez was just behind defensively but way ahead offensively.
It would be a great fight for the purists with trap and counter trap and no one landing much. I think Chavez's better offence just gives him the edge in a close decision win.
