Just makes you wonder how incredible a match-up in their primes at 135lb could've been, if only time could be shifted...

Oh, and speaking of Mosley sparring, here are some IB Fun-Facts:

    • Mosley sparred with future professional rival Oscar De La Hoya at the age of 15 when both were in the junior ranks of the amateurs. Shane kicked his butt, foreshadowing their future outcomes. :deal

    • Mosley has sparred with Gennady Golovkin and has recently Tweeted about wanting to do so again, the crazy SOB. :scaredas:

    • At his peak, legendary straw & light flyweight champion Iván Calderón actually sparred with both Mosley & ODLH - and got the best of them both, astoundingly.

    • Mosley cut the career of Zack Padilla tragically short with brain damage incurred during a hard spar, while Padilla was a reigning world titlist.

    • Mosley is currently doing light sparring with Curtis Stevens, whom Shane is also training for his upcoming BKB event. Stevens gets lots of face time with his coach, whose only pupil besides Showtime is his own kid, Shane Mosley Jr., currently 4-1 (4) and who in addition to Stevens has sparred (with favorable reviews) with Canelo Alvarez.

    In the clip? :huh

Not that much bigger. I'd place the clip around mid-90's, when they were campaigning in more or less the same weight range. (Chavez at 140lb in his title bouts and Mosley on the road to his 135lb reign, but taking lots of light welter tuneups along the way)
