Could have and should have happened in the early 90s.

I’d surprised if people pick Coggi (would love to hear the argument for that) but if you think Chavez, how does he win - points, KO/TKO and… as a bonus, what round?

I think Chavez breaks him down and stops him late on I'll pick the 10th round.

Coggi is level below, good fighter but never anything special at all. Did you see his fight with Eder Gonzalez ? Coggi was a sucker for the right hand.. like many southapws, yes, but Chavez has a great right... I mean

    Chavez on points

He would outwork Coggi. I don't see a stoppage. Coggi was usually very durable other than when he got caught in the first Gonzalez fight.

Always wondered why this one never happened given they were co-champions for quite some time. Chavez should win this without too much trouble but I think Coggi hangs on to go the distance.

Coggi was a good fighter but kept his title down in Argentina. Was a long running champ but I don't think he would do very well against Chavez .
