How Does Chavez Match against the 2 other Greatest light-welterweights in the history of the division?
Chavez TKOs Tszyu late. Pryor fight would be historic in its ferocity, but I see Chavez getting late stoppage in 15 round fight as Pryor was there to be hit. The body work of Chavez would have an effect and around rounds 13 to 15 I see Chavez getting to him. But in 12 round bout, I would give Pryor the edge as I feel he would build an early round lead, winning 7 to 5 or something similar.
He can beat Tszyu, but with Pryor it depends. Aaron showed amazing adaptability when he went from puncher to boxer against Arguello. If he does this and plays it safe with Julio then Chavez falls behind on points and would need a Taylor-style comeback to win. It would also largely hinge on a 12 or 15 round fight. Pryor had freakish stamina yet Chavez could soak up all he could dish out.
Pryor was a level above Meldrick, AP wins a huge decision. Chavez work rate too much for KT, JCC by late stoppage/wide ud.
I'd favor Chavez over both of them. Tszyu has had his most trouble with fighters who take it to him and force him to fight, and IMO Chavez was too skilled and precise an infighter for the ungainly and hittable Pryor.
