Two ATG's, Chavez is tough, but PBF's skill and ring generalship are out of the stratosphere. PBF dominates him.

Both at their absolute peaks, I take Chavez by razor thin decision 7-5 over 12. 9-6 or 8-7 over 15.

I think Mayweather wins this by UD. This would be like the Whitaker fight.

At 140, they are close. PBF was a much more skilled and smarter fighter than Meldrick, with a bit more power, which was Taylor's downfall. He thought he was a banger, but he couldn't bang that hard and took a lot of punishment in return, which stunted his career. He couldn't take the punishment and his body broke down.

Floyd's just a little too passive to take this one.

No, the speed isnt even CLOSE. Musch more skilled? I dont think you are giving Taylor enough credit.

Julio by UD, or late KO.

Nah this fight would have to be at 130, where both were at their best. This fight would be amazing, both fighters were complete beasts at this weight. It would be much closer since Chavez would be fighting at a more comfortable fighting weight.

I grew up watching these fighters and have seen most of Taylor fights. Meldrick might have been the fastest fight ever, but he wasn't the smartest fighter. He wasn't as good as Whittaker, who Floyd is on par with. Meldrick is not one of the G.O.A.T.'s, Mayweather is.

Who would have won? Whitaker or Mayweather @ 135?

That would be a fantastic matchup

For me, that would have been a great matchup. For some guys like Larry Mechant, they would hate it. This would be a great fight, but I'd go with Whittaker at 135. These guys are so similar in style and height.

It wouldn't be a slugfest, but it would be a great technical matchup between two boxing masters.

I too would pick Whitaker, by a 116-112 decision
