This is pretty hard to decide. Id really have to rewatch a few fights from each and then decide.

I wonder if PBF would be active enough to win the rounds?

The thing that got Taylor winning was his huge activity, he was constantly throwing and landing.

I wonder if Chavez can keep PBF on the defensive and keep throwing and win rounds by being more active?

It depends how well PBF counters him and if his counters would slow down Chavez.

PBF is a throwback 15 round fighter like Hopkins if he would have fought back then he'd be even better.

He has too many injuries to be a throwback fighter.

He would be good at any time, but he can't fight like Robinson did.

    He gets hurt too much.

What I'm saying is that he can box for 15 rounds like Hopkins. Meaning that he would fare well because of his excellent conditioning and wouldn't fade like some did back then.

my point exactly. Chavez cut the ring off SOOOOOO GOOD it wasn't even funny and he was extremely talented at getting on the inside - dude was simply a beast. And I don't know how people say that mayweathers "slickness" and "speed" would bother Chavez! Chavez has dealt with slicker and faster fighters in his time, man a prime Chavez would wreck Floyd in a 15round fight

Once again I disagree. A 15 round fight would be right up PBF's alley he wouldn't fade so it wouldn't be an issue. He would fustrate Chavez all night long with his handspeed movement and defense being in and out, Pea did it PBF could do the same. People here underestimate PBF's toughness and chin he can take a shot he's proved it by not being knocked down in a fight or really badly hurt either. People here act as if Chavez was a muderous puncher or something I actually think JLC hit harder. PBF gives Chavez fits and wins by UD much like Pea did but Pea got robbed.

I didnt say anything about Chavez's work rate.
I questioned PBF's punchoutput in the fight and if it would cause him to loose the fight.

PBF does alot of things better than Chavez. Better defense, better speed, better counters. But if he doesnt throw enough punches and is covering up alot while Chavez is on the attack, he will loose based on activity.

As much as I hate PBF, I can not think of how Chavez will handle PBF.

    PBF by wide UD.

I guess its all to easy for people to underestimate how good chavez really was. And all to easy to blow mayweathers style and skill out of proportion.

If Mayweather lost to Chavez' sparring partner (Castillo), not only would Chavez break PBF's ribs ala Castillo, but he would do a Meldrick Taylor on him.
