Interesting fight, Marquez loves guys who come to him, but is he biting off more than he can chew with JCC?

Marquez would have his moments but Chavez would put a serious hurting on him. Late round stoppage?

Marquez will put a great fight till about 7th round and then Chavez stamina and endurance will takes over as usual in most of his fights.

Chavez in his prime is unstopabble machine, he shrugged off every great puncher and just keep pressing. His fights against Rosario and Meldrick Taylor for intense.

Agreed. I voted for chavez by decision since Marquez has never been stopped. But, a late round stoppage win for Chavez is certainly not out of the question.

I went with Chavez by decision. Marquez was never stopped. And his record is misleading as some of those losses were robberies. Outstanding fighter. Julio would have his hands full.

I'd say Chavez UD in a great fight. JMM is a good enough in-the-pocket counter-puncher to have made a rivalry with a rematch or two in there at his best.

I actually think JMM has a good chance to win a fight or two in a trilogy

At 130 it would be a competitive war and Marquez would have a shot at winning.

At 135, Chavez was a peak fighting machine. I think Chavez was better at 135 than 130, whereas I think Marquez was better at 130 than 135.

At 135 lbs, Chavez by clear UD.

Chavez vs Marquez at 135, Picture Chavez vs Rosario with a little more difficulty. Marquez would have his moments but Chavez at that weight was just brutal.
