I had whitaker winning rounds 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,11 for whitaker CLEARLY (that's 8 rounds)

I had Chavez winning rounds 9 and 12 closely.

Rounds 5 and 10 were close rounds that I gave to whitaker.

I am shocked this was a draw.

First, I think the announcers WERE BLATANTLY favoriting chavez early. Chavez missed almost all his power shots. Whitaker had 10+ headsnapping punches almost every round.

118-110 i had it and will stand by it. Any1 else have it for whitaker this wide?

Rounds 1 and 2 should have been Chavez's or at the very least regarded as close and round 10 was a whitewash for Whitaker. Otherwise a decent card.

I know Al Bernstein has it 118-110 for Whitaker. I think he gave Chavez rounds 1 and 5.

    i had it 9 to 3 whitaker 117-111
i thought 4 rounds were close and i gave 3 of those 4 to whitaker
if you gave those all to chavez it would be a draw

Think you may have the fight a little to wide, not watched it in ages but think i had it a little tighter about 116-112 to pea, whitaker should have won though without doubt

For DLH-Whitaker, I thought DLH won it clearly, so coming into watching this fight I thought I might end up giving chavez the decision.

HOWEVER, whitaker's jab was unbelievable. They were Sugar Ray Robinson jabs; jabs with bad intentions...Whitaker's jabbing vs DLH was less accurate and more of taps (Oscar's head didn't snap back at all from his jabs...Chavez's head snapped back from jabs 100+ times it felt like)

If you rewatch the DH-Whitaker closely, you will notice that DH landed very few punches on Whitaker and I do not care what those punchstats said. The only punch that was really effective and landed consistently was the Whitaker jab even as you rightfully said did not land hard.

Whitaker - Chavez: Whitaker won it, everything from 115-113 to 118-110 is possible.

Whitaker should of have being penalized for low blows or fighting dirty.

Then Chavez should have been disqualified for the very same reason.

That's what I want to know. Pernell Whitaker had a case for every single round. Chavez has a case for no more than 4 IMO.
