Actually, good point there. I was thinking of putting the thread there initially, as majority of ESB's solid posters reside there, and can be able to give us insights and analyses of what could happen in this mythical fight. But I thought maybe, in here, more posters will be able to see and read their discussions. It is a long shot, TBH, to have them come and join this poll/discussion, but I know some posters who do leave their life there and once in a while and share their boxing views here. As for the fight, one thing I am certain, it would have been a violent, bloody mess of a close fight. I know I am a dick for not putting a "Draw/too close to call" poll option, since it is most probably needed here, but we have to make our clear choices sometimes.:yep
Thank you. I get a kick out of some of the same topics and the wars that spawn them Nothing will ever come close to Lewis-Klitschko:rofl:rofl The standard by which all others are measured.
No one on this forum will even entertain the thought of a Chavez win. But honestly, Duran didn't like cutting all the way down to 135 and he never faced anyone as great as Chavez at LW (or vice versa of course). It'd be a lot closer than most would admit.
The funny thing is, I have. Why do you think I said what I said. I didn't make that up. They tell me that kind of **** at my gym all the time.
You can't think for yourself? Somebody is more knowledgable of the sport than me because they prefer to post about **** that happened 20 years ago? GTFOH
It doesn't matter....the fact that you maybe a southpaw as your name infers makes you an even lower form of life.
I' am a southpaw. I'm a converted southpaw if that makes you fell any better, LOL. Why does that make me a lower life form?:?
Was there ever a talk or an attempt of negotiations to get these guys in the same ring? They are separated by eleven years, but we've also seen fighters who fight opponents ten years their senior. Duran's best weight was 135 while Chavez's was 140.
