Julio Cesar Chavez will beat Sergio Martinez, I'm calling a stoppage within 10 rounds

I really don't think Sergio will win this one. Chavez is big, strong, punch power, and on the night, his defence will be good. I just can't see what Martinez can do to win this fight. I don't see SM knocking out Chavez jr AT ALL!

    Your opinions?

    no way

Chavez couldn't finish John Duddy, or Rubio or Zbik...no way he finishes Sergio. I expect Sergio to knock him out actually.

I think martinez will try to land hard shots early to try to cut Chavez thus making it easier to tee off on him and get a ko.

I'm not ready to make a pick quite yet, but I really do like Junior's chances. His size, toughness, and the fact that he invests heavily to the body right from the get go make me think he has a damn good shot to pull this off.

if martinez doesn't do something big early to take some steam out of chavez he will be in for a very long night. i can see chavez coming on mid rounds when martinez likes to take his break. look for chavez to land to the body and take martinez' legs away and for him to fight in close quarters. chavez by late tko or ud.

Martinez also got boxed silly for 11 rounds against Darren Barker. Maybe not boxed silly, but you know.

@Enigma1,Darren barker fought scared and he's a decent boxer, chavez is a easier style because all he knows is forward and zbik had only 10 ko's and was rocking chavez jr's head around and backed him up at times.

i love these bold knock out predictions before every fight.

the fight is going 12 rounds.

chavez has 3 KO's in his last 11 fights
vs andy lee, manfredo, and jason who gives a crap

not sure where you think chavez is the new julian jackson now..oh because he beat up andy lee last time out? :rofl

Barker and Chavez jr are very different fighters, Barker is a competent defensive fighter that knows how to pick his spots...Chavez blocks punches with his face and will take one to get one.

styles make fights and chavez style suits martinez to a tee he's literally just going to walk onto martinez punches all night like williams and pavlik. when guys like barker and macklin gave sergio problems it was because of intelligent boxing forcing him to come to them jr does'nt understand anything other than forward

when it comes to predicting fight outcomes based on styles it does'nt get any easier than this one
