Julio Cesar Martinez vs Sunny Edwards in the works for October 22th

Good fight, I favor Martinez but Sunny could outbox him.

 

JCM is always entertaining. It took a grandmaster like Roman Gonzalez to negate his skills and make him seem run-of-the-mill. Edwards is a quality fighter but I don't think he can handle the power and wild shots of Martinez.

 

Good fight. More likely that this fight may be much more competitive than the Chocolatito fight. Martinez was outgunned by an ATG but I think he’ll have more success against Edwards. Edwards doesn’t have the power to trouble Martinez but wouldn’t surprise me if he manages to outbox him. Hopefully the Chocolatito loss hasn’t affected Martinez mentally.
