Ludicrious scoring...this is as bad as Williams-Lara, maybe event more incompetance from these judges. How the f@ck do all three judges lose 2 rounds? This got to be explained.

If that's true, then it looks like the ringannouncer called the wrong scorecard. :think

Miranda was robbed. Another disgusting scoring display by thieving judges.

No he wasn't. It's true that scoring a 12 round fight like it's a 10 rounder is ridiculous but watching the fight in its entirety, Viloria won fair and square.

    KNOCK IT OFF!!! :rant

Seriously. Don't even start with that crap. Even if you're kidding, and I can't tell. This is how BS rumors get started and spread like wildfire across the net. "Oh, some people on ESB said that Miranda got robbed against Viloria..." and then it snowballs to "People on a bunch of websites are saying..." :blabla

    Miranda did NOT get robbed.

Viloria fought like a coward in the last few rounds after Miranda's pressure started to bust him down, but he had bagged more than enough rounds to coast to victory. Miranda doesn't get the benefit of the doubt just for behaving more like a warrior, nor should he be awarded rounds just by virtue of being Mexican and being the aggressor. :nono Boxing is scored on a TEN POINT MUST, ROUND BY ROUND basis emphasizing CLEAN EFFECTIVE PUNCHING, RING GENERALSHIP, and DEFENSE. As such, Viloria earned a fairly wide decision even hemorrhaging those late rounds by running and clinching like a frightened bunny in a badger den.

I'm so sick of people crying wolf when it comes to perceived "robberies". Miranda did NOT suffer home cooking against Viloria; he lost fair and square. Caballero did NOT suffer home cooking against Barros; he lost fair and square.

Williams over Lara; Shumenov over Campillo in the rematch - these are REAL, genuine robberies and it's a slap in the face of the sport and its real fans to denigrate those robberies by lumping them in with "fights that didn't go the way of who you were rooting for". :bart

The only Mexican robbed on that card in Hawaii was Fernando Beltran Jr. :deal
