Petrozza: your remarks are well stated. The business side of boxing counts for far more than the average fan realizes. I'm glad you're calling fans attention to the Setanta situation.

Everyone here should consider Sultan Ibragimov's fight with Evander Holyfield as an example. Sultan was promised several million as a result of proceeds from several sources, including Russian and American television revenue.

After the fight, it came out that Sultan-Ibragimov did not generate the revenue originally expected, possibly because the Russian promoter could not deliver on his promise. Now, Sultan is suing his own manager to recover the promised money.

That Setanta may not have the liquidity to make good on its obligation to Haye is something that must be eating away at Haye and his handlers. It's something to think about.

Mother ****ers aren't going to travel half way across the world to watch Klitschko-Chagaev.

That fight would not sell out in a matter of days because nobody gives a ****.

Who the **** wants to see that fight?

This is exactly how i see it

3 weeks and Haye will be ready to fight, same venue etc on July 11

Wlad supposedly wants to shut Haye up, punish him, pizza face etc

He really will look like he is ducking Haye if he doesnt wait.

yes, I agree, Chagaev is a "dirty" foocker, but he got pulled out of this fight by Valuev's management.

and again, you think fight with Haye is better, based on Haye's ability to talk nonstop nonsense or his "great" win over Barrett?

england is not half way across the world,

But german fans love both fighters, if those two set up a date, it would sell just as quick, wlad has been selling out stadiums for 9 years now, that is why he spit from unisversum, they kept most the money. After his loss to sanders, he fought two dogs in a row, they sold out 20,000 seats both times,,,,,:hi:

:patsch See you keep on saying this but you dont know the details of Haye's injury..thats my whole point...Common sense or not its not that hard to figure out...Like I said he pulls this **** again after July 11 then you'll have a case until then its nothing more than you bias opinion.

Like I said before Haye is damned if he doesnt and damned if he does...you take the comment how want to!

Now you're putting words in my mouth...Not once did I say he going to be better because he beat Monte Barret...This fight has caught the public eye because of Haye's approach to Wlad....People want to see if Haye can back up the talk, so yes I say this fight will be more interesting that a match up with Chageav.

What I'm saying is that I dont know the extent of Haye's injury because I'm not on his team so I wont pass judhement on him unlike you...If he pulls this stunt again in July then I will agree with you but I'm not going to sit back and talk down on Haye without all facts being laid out on the table.

Yes, pretty much...I've stop trying to keep up with HW division because its lack of exciting fights...Wlad is doing his thing now and there is no one to challenge him....Kinda hard to follow a class when some of its fighters cant seem to push for a unification.

Let me also add I'm not the biggest Haye fan here, I just wanted to see what he can do to a division that many think is boring right now.

also Rudyard, if you don't mind, I have another question for you.

if Chagaev had the same character as Haye (meaning all the talking and mall-stalking) would you be interested in Chag vs Wlad fight then?

I think it would grab my interest....You gotta understand that being the villian sometimes might bring you a brand new audiance...So if you're talking **** a little bit...its going to make people tune in to you to see if you're about you business or if you're a loud-mouth **** talker who just runs his mouth.

Cant speak for everybody else my man but I tend to like to see a fight between a humble fighter vs an out-spoken, arrogant but confident fighter....makes one hell of a fight given that the humble fighter is out to shut up the out-spoken fight while the out-spoken fighter is out to show he can back up his talk...That is the equation for a damn good fight IMO.:good
