I'm pretty sure Wladimir will beat the **** outta Thompson, but he'd have an even easier time against that marshmallow Golota in your avatar.

 

coming off that unimpressive performance against sultan, ufortunately for tony the tiger wlad will come out throwing that right hand way more then he did agaisnt sultan... tony may have the skills to beat timur ibragimov but not wlad.. sorry .......... wlad ko3 or 4

Doubtful that Thompson can win, he's so damn lumbering. He's slow, awkward.. against the speed, precision, and power of Wlad? I see TKO in 2 or 3 rounds, hell Wlad might not even need the right hand to land, he can probably take him out Ray Austin style.

 

It doesn't matter. This sounds like all of the same sort of things people were saying about Ray Austin prior to his fight with Wlad. Obviously, we know how it turned out, and subsequently, everyone said that Austin was a bum.

 

im just waiting for klitschko to beat tony and povetkin, who is also overrated so he can fight david haye. thats gonna be an awesome fight.

Me too. So he can fight Haye, Valuev/Chagaev winner or maybe even Peter again.

 

aside from klitschko's poor record w/ southpaws i really dont see what attribute thompson has over klitschko

 

:happy word dude. those fights need to get made. i cant wait to see Peter get taken out. he sucks. his two biggest wins have been against guys that were WAAAAY past their primes, James Toney and Oleg Maskaev. tho i have to say a valuev/peter fight would be entertaining, a battle of the giants. at the same time i cud easily see it having punchstat numbers of 10 punches a fighter per round

 

Thompson doesnt have the power to brawl with wlad or try to end it early, nor does he have the skills to outbox him.

i am a big beleiver in the old cliche styles make fights.

to me everything that thompson does and has in his locker will suit wlad, and i think wlad will do a number and look good doing so on thompson.

 

Thompson is definitely good enough to give Wlad some problems for a couple rounds, but that's it. This fight will be similar to the Klitschko-Brock fight, he will be game for some rounds until Klitschko lands a really good punch and sends him to the floor. I say Klitschko wins by TKO middle rds.
