    thing is, most of them had these advantages and such over tyson, this was the exception, not the rule, that he lost.

    but totally about botha, easily one of lewis weakest title opponents. A staybusy for him really, perhaps the title shouldnt strictly been at stake for it. I guess Lewis just wanted a guaranteed good win at home to boost his popularity at home. He was at this stage still not widely accepted as a Brit.

    Bruno was considered the "True Brit" I guess because Lewis grew up in Canada.

    yep bruno had very english personality, the self deprecation and humour.

    lewis my comparison just sounded "american" to much of britain (the difference between canadian and american is something I only picked up on in 30s personally, acents i mean obv). and he was never a good salesman for what he was selling, more a thinker than a personality.
