First of all let’s clarify, this wasn’t matchroom.

Whatever promoter was putting it on went bust, that’s why it didn’t happen.

Lucas Browne is a disgrace. According to Tom Little, after the show got cancelled Hearn stepped in to help the fighters out and offered to put it on one of his shows, same wages etc. Little duly obliged but Browne started demanding more and more money so the fight didn’t happen. Little says Browne is scared to fight him and has now offered to fight Browne any time, any place, anywhere, on a no win no fee basis.
