If you were born on that day, you'd be 99 years old today.

Born? Jeepers, I was there. I lost eight goddamn dollars betting on Willard, and believe you me I was plenty sore about it. I was going to use that bread to buy a new icebox and one of those new-fangled air conditioning contraptions that were all the rage.

Jeez next year it will be 100 years. Maybe they'll make a movie on Dempsey. I think if they did it right with all the bad and good things about Dempsey, it could be really good.

Wasn't even the best fight of the day. Langford and Wills squared off in St. Louis and Greb thrashed Brennan in Tulsa.

Would be great to find Greb/Brennan....we have a video of Wills-Langford.
