I think you are misunderstanding either me or your own ranking system. I am not criticizing any particular placement of this or that fighter; they're your rankings and naturally will have subjective subtleties. What I am inquiring about is whether or not a fighter once agreed upon to have a bad chin could exit your rankings because of a style change that made him less vulnerable to having it exposed.

The above quote and other statements you have made in this thread indicate that you agree: if a fighter avoids being knocked out for a string of fights, then despite previously showing a bad a chin he may be taken off the list.

However, you also posted this:

i wouldnt say horrible, Haye took his chin off with a right hammer and he will never be the same again confidence destroyed, no disgrace Haye is heavy handed, the reason he sticks in the mind as weak chinned is the embarrasing chicken dance he did after the KD.

Then why would Klitschko leave your list? Why would Jones be departing? If you can't train their chins, shouldn't we assume they are as bad as shown in their destructive, knocout losses of the past?

Also, I never said you could train a chin. I said, and Wlad is a perfect example, that you can alter fighting style to protect it. You wonder why Klitschko hasn't been knocked out lately? It's because he fights in a style perfectly tailored to someone with chin and stamina issues. But if you're going to doggedly hold that we can't evaluate such things, then it seems rather foolish for you not to have him in the top ten.

I think what NickBarker's trying to say is that even though Wlad hasn't be KO'd lately. He still has the same chin, so he shouldn't be moving off the list. His spot should stay as is.

 

That seems to be the standard that he is commiting himself to. I'm trying to see if there is consistency to what is being said by the original poster. I personally don't care one way or the other about the rankings, but do find the whole spectacle curious.

P.s Thomas hearns ko'd dennis andries and rocked virgil hill up ay light heavy, thats about 30 pounds heavier than his original weight. I suppose they had **** chins as well. :think

 

while i agree about most of list i am a brit but dont mind about who is where on the list as khan and enzo seem spot on ,mr spadafora has an obvious need to try and get attention by winding people up and feeding off thier aggressive responses,also his obsession with glass jaws could mean he has one himself and is angry about this and the khan fixation could be some form be of homo-erotica .....just a thought ,but i do agree khan is chinny
